What To Expect On The Day

‍From the time the recipient enters our recording studio they will soon see that all their fears can be put aside. Our friendly engineer will soon put them at ease and will explain what will happen during their recording session. The first job will be to either obtain the backing tracks for their session, or, if they already have them, the engineer will load them on to the system. The engineer will then run through the songs with them to make sure they are happy with the backing track(s) and also to make sure they know what to do regarding timing and pitch during their performance. When recipient and engineer are both happy to proceed the engineer will introduce them to the vocal booth where they will perform the songs. They will then do a couple of dry run throughs so the engineer can set the recording levels and also this helps to get the first time nerves out of the way. Finally they will perform two or three run throughs of each song and the engineer will then use the best performance to use for the final song master. The Karaoke Singer package allows for a free digital MP3 version of the song(s) that will be given to them on a USB drive for free, or it can be emailed or sent via WhatsApp to them. Also, if required, they are also entitled to one free CD master of their session. Extra CD copies can be purchased on the day (up to 5 copies) at £2 each disc. Please note that CD’s are not printed or personalised.

‍

‍PLEASE NOTE:

‍Unlike some karaoke sessions in bars we do not have the ‘bouncing ball’ video system for lyrics. Song lyrics can be printed at the studio and, for the best possible experience, the recipient must be able to know the songs to some degree.

Redeeming The Voucher

‍The recipient follows the instructions in their voucher email to contact us to arrange a date for the session to take place. When they contact they give us the pack type and a few suggested date options and we can see what dates are available. Once arranged they come along to the studio on the agreed date and present the barcode either on their phone or printed voucher.

Optional Onsite Accomodation

Oastview Studio has two fantastic onsite chalet’s. Just pick the Voucher version you would like with accommodation included. The choice of chalet is dependant on availability when you book your session. Click here to see our fantastic onsite accommodation
